1. Agreement to these terms
By installing, accessing, or using eMatch Lite, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the application. You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement.
2. What eMatch Lite provides
eMatch Lite helps users compare resumes or CVs with job descriptions, generate fit scores and evidence reports, and create AI-assisted resume and cover-letter drafts. Features, supported providers, models, and output formats may change over time.
eMatch Lite does not provide legal, employment, immigration, financial, or professional recruiting advice, and it does not guarantee an interview, offer, hire, or employment outcome.
3. Local accounts and security
Your eMatch Lite profile is created and stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining control of your device, sign-in credentials, authenticator configuration, and any third-party AI credentials you use.
You must not attempt to access another person’s local profile or circumvent security, usage, or budget controls. If your device is lost or compromised, use available operating-system controls to protect or erase it.
4. Your responsibilities
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload, process, and generate content from any resume, CV, job description, or other material you provide.
You agree not to use eMatch Lite to:
- Violate privacy, intellectual-property, employment, anti-discrimination, or other applicable laws.
- Make fully automated employment decisions without meaningful human review.
- Submit unlawful, malicious, deceptive, or rights-infringing content.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security or service limits, except where applicable law expressly permits.
5. AI-generated output
Human review is required. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, outdated, or unsuitable for your intended purpose.
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every score, report, recommendation, resume, and cover letter before relying on or distributing it. Do not add or retain unsupported claims, credentials, achievements, or personal information.
Match scores express model-assisted alignment under selected criteria; they are not objective measures of a person’s ability, worth, or legal eligibility for employment.
6. Third-party services
AI operations may rely on third-party providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms, privacy policies, acceptable-use policies, rate limits, and charges. eMatch Lite is not responsible for third-party availability, output, policy changes, or fees.
7. Content and ownership
You retain any rights you have in the content you provide. You grant eMatch Lite and the selected service providers the limited permission necessary to process that content and return the features you request.
The eMatch Lite application, branding, interface, and original software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the application to you.
8. Availability and changes
The application is provided on an “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features; update supported models; impose reasonable service limits; or correct defects. Preserve independent copies of important documents and do not treat eMatch Lite as your sole document archive.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, eMatch Lite is provided without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunities, profits, goodwill, or employment outcomes arising from use of or inability to use eMatch Lite. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using eMatch Lite at any time. You can delete your local account and associated local data by following the account deletion instructions. We may restrict supporting-service access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the service, or comply with law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the application or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
