Delete your account

Delete your local eMatch Lite account

Use the full-reset path below. The deletion applies to the eMatch Lite installation on that device and cannot be undone.

  1. Open eMatch Lite and sign in to the local account you want to delete.
  2. Open the More tab, then select Clean Data or Reset.
  3. Choose Delete CV/JD fingerprints to select the complete reset option.
  4. Review the confirmation and choose Delete & Clean.

Do not choose “Keep fingerprints.” That option removes activity history but preserves the account, imported documents, and reusable fingerprints. It does not delete the account.

If you cannot open the app

Because the profile is stored locally, you can remove it without signing in:

  1. Open Android Settings.
  2. Open Apps and select eMatch Lite.
  3. Open Storage and choose Clear storage or Clear data.

Uninstalling eMatch Lite also removes its ordinary app-local files and database from the device. Android labels vary by device manufacturer and operating-system version.

Data deleted by the full reset

Local profile

Name, email, optional contact and avatar information, password history, and recovery configuration.

Career documents

Imported resumes, CVs, job descriptions, filenames, metadata, and document fingerprints.

Analysis

Match history, scores, cached comparisons, reports, recovery jobs, and generated report files.

Writing & activity

Resume and cover-letter drafts, search history, diagnostic logs, and local usage records.

The app resets its ordinary preferences to their defaults. To remove every eMatch Lite value controlled by Android, including separately secured values, use Android’s Clear storage action after the in-app reset.

Information that may be retained

eMatch Lite’s supporting service may retain minimal app-level records of AI operations for service reliability, security, abuse prevention, cost control, accounting, and legal obligations. These records may include the operation type, AI provider and model, token counts, estimated cost, completion status, timestamp, and limited error details.

These supporting-service records are not designed to be linked to the email or name in your local eMatch Lite profile and do not provide a remotely accessible eMatch Lite user account. AI providers may retain information according to their own policies and any provider account or agreement you use.

Questions about deletion

If you need help, contact the developer using the contact information displayed on eMatch Lite’s Google Play listing. Include “eMatch Lite deletion” in the subject. Do not send your password, authentication code, API key, resume, or identity document.

Because the developer cannot identify a device-local profile from an email address alone, deletion is completed on the device using the steps above.
