1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the eMatch Lite mobile application, the supporting service used to process AI operations and record aggregate usage, and the eMatch Lite website. “eMatch Lite,” “we,” and “our” refer to the eMatch Lite application and its developer.

The eMatch Lite website uses GoatCounter to count page views and displays the homepage count in its footer. GoatCounter says it counts visits without cookies or persistent personal identifiers. When you visit the website, GoatCounter receives technical request information, such as the page opened, referrer, and browser type, and processes it under its privacy policy. This website counter is separate from the mobile app and its usage records.

Important: eMatch Lite is designed primarily as a device-local application. Your app profile, imported documents, matching history, reports, and writing drafts are stored on your device unless they are sent for an AI operation you request.

2. Information eMatch Lite handles

Information you provide

  • Local profile information: name, sign-in email, optional contact details, optional profile image, and account security information.
  • Career documents: resumes, CVs, job descriptions, filenames, and information contained in those files.
  • Generated and derived information: document fingerprints, match scores, dimensional analysis, reports, resume drafts, cover-letter drafts, and writing preferences.

Technical and usage information

  • Selected AI provider and model, operation type, token counts, estimated cost, status, timestamps, and limited error details.
  • App version, platform, app registration status, diagnostic logs stored on your device, and local search history.

eMatch Lite does not include advertising SDKs and does not use your career documents to serve advertising.

3. How information is used

Information is used to provide the functions you choose, including document indexing, resume-to-job matching, fit scoring, detailed evidence reports, and tailored application writing. Technical usage records support cost reporting, service reliability, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and budget controls.

Automated analysis is provided as decision support. eMatch Lite should not be used as the sole basis for an employment decision.

4. AI providers and service providers

When you request an AI operation, selected document content and related context are transmitted to the AI provider configured for that operation. Supported configurations may include Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter. The provider returns an analysis or draft to eMatch Lite.

Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Do not submit documents unless you are authorized to process their contents. eMatch Lite does not sell personal information.

The eMatch Lite service records app-level usage metadata for AI operations. It is not designed to associate those service records with the email or identity in your device-local eMatch Lite profile.

5. Storage and security

Local account records and analysis data are stored in the app’s private storage on your device. Passwords are stored as password hashes rather than plain text. Certain secrets and settings use the device’s secure-storage facilities where supported.

Data transmitted to the supporting service or an AI provider is sent using encrypted network connections. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection, so you should protect access to your device and avoid importing information you do not need for the requested analysis.

6. Retention and deletion

Device-local information remains until you delete an item, use the app’s full reset option, clear the app’s storage through Android, or uninstall the app. Deleting the local account removes the associated local profile, documents, fingerprints, matches, reports, drafts, and related history from that installation.

App-level service records may be retained as reasonably necessary for security, fraud and abuse prevention, service reliability, accounting, and legal obligations. These records may include operation and cost metadata but are not designed to contain your full resume or job-description files.

See Delete your eMatch Lite account and data for step-by-step instructions and a description of what is deleted.

7. Your choices

  • Review or delete individual resumes, job descriptions, reports, and logs within the app.
  • Choose the AI provider and model used for an operation where configuration is available.
  • Use the full reset option to delete your local account and associated local data.
  • Clear Android app storage or uninstall eMatch Lite to remove the app’s local data from that device.

8. Questions and requests

For privacy questions or requests, contact the developer using the developer contact information displayed on eMatch Lite’s Google Play listing. Include “eMatch Lite privacy” in the subject and do not attach a resume, government identifier, password, authentication code, or API key.

Because eMatch Lite profiles are stored locally, the developer generally cannot identify or remotely erase a device-local profile. The account deletion page explains how to remove it directly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as eMatch Lite changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes should be reflected in the app and Play Console disclosures as appropriate.
