Delete your Itemity account and data
Itemity, by 852 Technologies LLC, keeps your inventory and your optional login on your phone only. There is no online Itemity account, so everything can be deleted on the phone itself. Only records of Itemity Pro purchases are held outside your phone, by our purchase-management provider, and you can ask us to delete those.
Your login account
The optional login (display name, username, password, authenticator app, date of birth and recovery email; the password and date of birth are kept only as one-way hashes) exists only on your phone. To delete it: open Itemity, go to More > Security, switch off Enable Login and confirm with your password. The account is deleted from your phone straight away. Uninstalling the app also deletes it.
Your inventory data
Items, purchases and usage records, photos, categories, locations, people and settings are stored only on your phone. To delete them: More > Settings > Reset Database (your login is kept; see above to delete it), or uninstall the app. This also removes the home-screen widget summary and the error log stored on your phone. Backup and export files you saved elsewhere are yours to delete.
Purchase records
Itemity Pro purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Our independent purchase-management provider keeps a record linked to a random ID created for your installation of the app (not your name or email address). To request deletion of the provider record, email support@852technologies.com with the Support ID shown in the app under About > Application Info. We will process the request within the time applicable law requires and confirm by email, subject to records that must be kept for legal or security purposes. Your store account keeps its own purchase record under the store's terms, so you can still restore purchases afterwards.
Performance and crash reports
The app sends anonymous performance and crash reports to our app-update and diagnostics provider, tagged with a random installation ID that we cannot link to you. They are kept under that provider’s own retention schedule, and we usually cannot find a particular phone’s reports to delete them. Uninstalling the app stops further reports.
Emails you send us
If you contact us, we keep your message only as long as needed to reply and as described in the Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete it at the same address.
